Kiko Korn, Esq

Kiko is the founder of Legal Writing Works, a consulting firm that provides in-house legal-writing workshops and one-on-one consultations for attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals. Before founding LWW, she was an adjunct professor of Legal Writing and Advocacy at the USC Gould School of Law.

Kiko's practice experience includes serving as a Deputy City Attorney in the San Francisco City Attorney's Office and as a Deputy Attorney General in the Appeals, Writs, and Trials section of the California Attorney General's Office. She was also an associate at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart and clerked for the Honorable John Webb of the North Carolina Supreme Court.

While practicing law, Kiko taught several courses in law and writing. She frequently presented workshops on topics such as recognizing and preventing sexual harassment, implementing the disciplinary process in the public sector, and writing winning arbitration briefs.

Kiko graduated from Stanford University in 1991 with a degree in American Studies. In 1995, she received her JD with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where she was a published staff member and editor of the North Carolina Law Review.

Colleen Fitzgerald Cable, JD, MLIS

Colleen started working in a law firm library while in law school and soon made librarianship her career. For the past 10 years, she has worked as director of a county law library and law firm library and then as a relationship manager for a large legal information vendor. She is now a consultant with Cable&Clark, partnering with medium and large law firms across the country on information strategies.

Colleen has a BS from Friend's University, a
JD from the University of Tulsa, College of Law and an MLIS from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the Special Libraries Association.

Colleen enjoys sharing her knowledge of legal information procurement and strategic cost recovery by speaking at librarian meetings, conferences and events as requested. Her more recent presentations include:

Katherine Lowry, JD

Katherine is President of Aduvo Solutions, a consulting firm providing marketing, business development, and cost recovery strategies to professional service industries. She also teaches marketing courses as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Evansville.

Katherine graduated from the University of Dayton, School of Law, and since then, has held senior-level management positions such as Director of Business Development at the law firm of Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald and Hahn, LLP and Director of Library and Information Services at Sommer Barnard, PC. She is also a former Client Relations Manager who worked under strategic marketing for Thomson Reuters.

Her professional experience includes substantial achievement in business development coaching, building and sustaining a strategic marketing and sales culture, developing marketing plans, event planning, and creating communications to build preference and increase awareness of services and products. Her relentless dedication to her work is rewarded by a proven record of improving return on investment and increasing revenue, preference, and brand awareness.
